John Astleford Memorial Race Day

Overview

Atlanta Motorcycle Club was pleased to honor John Astleford with a memorial race on May 21st, 2011.

John was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who participated in most forms of vintage motorcycle sports competition.  Most recently he was the Southeast Regional Coordinator for AHRMA's Trials competition.  His brother Cal had this to say about John shortly after John died in January, 2011:

"I am sure he is already setting up a “Trials” group in that great MX track in the sky and know his love for 2 strokes lives through me and my son, Drake who is already using his number “214” on his 07 CR 85."

Recap and Results

Thanks to all who came out to support the John Astleford Memorial Race Day.  Weather was great and the motocross, trials, cross country, youth short track, TT, and short track events all ran successfully.
