The October 2010 club ride took Charles, Donna, Larry, and Bill to Hurricane Shoals County Park located in Jackson County between Jefferson, Maysville, and Commerce GA. Charles and Donna routed us over two lane pavement from their home in Winder. Riding was easy and the scenery was great.

Heritage Village is adjacent to Hurricane Shoals, and contains a number of local buildings built in the 1800s and early 1900s. Some of the buildings were in daily use by their builders (or their descendents) as late as 1993. The buildings have been moved to the Heritage Village display area over the past 25 years through the efforts of the county and the Tumbling Waters Society.
